Meet Mya And Her Moms (VIDEO)

CafeMom Studios has released a delightful new video featuring Mya, an 8-year-old girl with two moms.

Says CafeMoms in the video description:

Mya is, in many ways, a typical 8-year-old girl. She takes piano lessons, loves to read, and enjoys the girl scouts. She has two parents who love her and want the best for her. What’s not so typical, is that both her parents are moms. Take a peek into the daily lives of Lisa, Laura and their daughter Mya, and see if you can spot the differences between this family and any other.

See the family’s story below:

I am happy for this family and wish them the best!

I also wanted to point out that no matter how much we disagree with Holly or Michelle, it shows alot of intolerance on your part to tell them they are not welcome to state their opinions on this article. I didnt agree with what they said either, but I would never sink so low as to tell them that they are not welcome on this site because I dont agree with them. So many people are fighting for chic-fil-a's right to freedom of speech(even though its not their opinion thats pissing people off, its the fact that they are donating millions to anti-gay rights groups that are working to manipulate the gov into limiting gay rights), so why are we trying to hinder Holly and Michelles freedom of speech?

My 14 year old is an honor student, in the National Junior Honor Society, loved by ALL his teachers and staff, is well mannered, has received so many medals and awards in soccer, track and field, basketball and football. My 9 year old is also a straight A student and has been doing track and field since she was 7 (also received awards). Both my children are loving, kind, accepts everyone for who they are, and definitely not racist. So you tell me? Are they in need of a father? NO! Neither does Mya! That's right! Be very afraid!

Holly and Michelle, you don't belong here! Get your racist, bigoted, idiotic hatred out of here!

Holly M - "What I Want to Do: promote peace and exist in peace, Make at least one person smile everyday!, Make a difference anyway that I can, Live each day as if it were my last!, Live and let others live, Give-share-help as much as possible, enjoy life, End Violence Aginst the Voiceless,
What Scares Me: being alone, ignorance, hate, how cruel the people of the world are, moral direction of our society, not being aligned with Great Spirit, politicians, Losing the ones I love"

Wait! What? Love for all people??? Seriously? You're scared of ignorance, hatred, how cruel the people are of this world...YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF IDIOT! You also wrote that these 2 loving (women) parents have warped values and morals of almost everyone is deteriorating. You didn't say you didn't like this family, but you don't have to.

Michele H. "conservative; Get God back in our nation, outlaw lobbyists, define marriage between one man and one woman, outlaw abortion, repeal obamacare, deport all illegals...this child is being deprived of a desperately needed father. She will suffer great pain from these women being so selfish thinking they just had to have a child.
What Scares Me : liberals / socialists"

Wow! Mya is being cared for and loved by 2 parents. It doesn't matter if both are female or male. Who says she's being deprived of a desperately needed father? I'm a single parent raising a 14 and a 9 year old. My 14 year old is an ho

It takes a village to raise a child and at least this little lady is part of a family and not in the system. I attend a church that is inclusive and 'more light.' I have plenty of opportunities to rethink my narrow-minded beliefs about traditional families, quit putting God in a box, and embrace equality and respect.

I think the problem for Michelle and Holly might be that they both "Saw the Light" and were blinded by it.
