Obama Campaign Unveils Endorsement By Gloria Steinem [VIDEO]

President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign is showing its eagerness to allow women’s health, reproductive freedom and social success to become a key campaign issue by unveiling a new endorsement — feminist leader Gloria Steinem.

Watch Steinem’s enthusiastic list of reasons she will be supporting the reelection campaign, and how she believes Obama best meets the needs of women, regardless of their party affiliation. “We will lose what we have gained if a Republican wins.”

Jeffrey W., I think this WILL influence the Independent voters or the ones that can think for themselves anyway. I think that if we work hard enough we can get through to enough women and men that CARE about the women in their lives to remove the American Taliban from office and refuse to vote another one into office. We know that there will always be women so brainwashed that they will never see their true worth, that will forever see themselves as nothing more than broodmares and property and for these people we sadly can do nothing. We MUST however continue the fight our mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers with the help of some caring men started. We must never forget that we are important and our worth goes far beyond bowing to men or having babies.

Jeffrey, I am so glad there are men out there that in NO way believes the CRAP that you do. You make me twice as proud of my husband because YOU show me what a REAL man should NOT be like.

I think that it is vital that women take their rightful place in government. 50/50. We are 50% of the population, we should hold 50% of the elected offices in this country, and it should be mandated by legislation. This man's world is destroying itself, testosterone is killing us, and it is only getting worse. Intelligent, enlightened women can clearly see that we are on the verge of catastrophe, and we don't have a lot of time left. I urge all eligible women to seriously consider running for office, you can no longer afford to stay on the sidelines. If you care about your family, your environment, and your community, then put your money where your mouth is and run. Your country desperately needs your wisdom and your compassion.

Nancy Pelosi would have made an awesome president, but Republicans demonized and persecuted her and ruined her reputation. They are an abomination to this country, and if they gain the White House, all will be lost.

Why is it that people who have made great strides in life and have more than earned our respect support Obama while only washed up actors with no other skills support any Republican with a pulse?

I am all for it and we still have a long way to go..
The problem is that women do not stick to each other and are fighting against us for the rights that we should be given at birth as humans..We are not equal to men, we are superior because up to this date, I have never seen a man giving birth to a human...Hello people and women especially, do you want to go back to being barefoot and pregnant? I certainly would not have wanted to..I have been single for the last 35 years and I am extremely happy living on my own. I firmly believe we have the cojones because most of the burden for the children rests upon us..I raised mine on my own without any money from my ex.(.got tired of paying useless and greedy lawyers) and no help from the Government.

I was wondering where all the women were who went through all of this in the past. I was growing disappointed that they were not standing up to serve as mentors for those of us who have not been here before. It's really important that we have those mentors if we are to fight what's going on right now.
