Pat Robertson is Going to Hell

And he might be taking you with him.  Because if there is a god, Pat Robertson is one of the devil’s pied pipers.

People who love their fellow man do not expound on the cause of natural disasters and unfathomable human suffering, they just do what they can to help.

Here is what Pat Robertson said on his Christian Broadcasting Network show Wednesday (1/13) about the devastating earthquake in Haiti that many sources are now saying has claimed the lives of as many as 500,000 people:

“Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French … and they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, ‘We will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French.’

True story. And the devil said, ‘OK, it’s a deal.’ “Ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another.”

After a firestorm of protest and criticism, CBN released a statement to clarify Robertson’s comments, claiming:

“On today’s The 700 Club, during a segment about the devastation, suffering and humanitarian effort that is needed in Haiti, Dr. Robertson also spoke about Haiti’s history. His comments were based on the widely-discussed 1791 slave rebellion led by Boukman Dutty at Bois Caiman, where the slaves allegedly made a famous pact with the devil in exchange for victory over the French. This history, combined with the horrible state of the country, has led countless scholars and religious figures over the centuries to believe the country is cursed.”

The statement goes on to detail Robertson’s compassion for the Haitian people and his relief efforts already underway.

Of course Robertson has a long history of claiming natural disasters are sent by god as divine retribution for sins he arbitrarily determines:

Robertson linked Hurricane Katrina to abortion.
Robertson blamed Ariel Sharon stroke on his policy on the Gaza Strip.
Robertson called for the assassination of Hugo Chavez.

I suspect that the devil knows a lot more about Pat Robertson than he knows about the devil.

Pat Robertson is a pathetic old fool. He is a right wing conservative biggot who tries to use god and religion to justify hatred of poor people, homosexuals, unmarried couples, liberals and anyone who does not fit his narrow definition of perfection. If he really cared about the the suffering of poor people, then why doesn't he go down to haite, open a church, try to work with international organizations to the improve conditions by bringing in solar cookers, solar power generators, recycled metal shipping container housing, small wind generators to generate electricity, small greenhouses to grow food, and so on. Right wing biggot christian liars like Pat Robertson always critisize liberals and others as being ungodly, but they never do anything to actually help the poor people who are really suffering in the world. It's time to retire permanently this old mendacious charlatan, who has nothing to give to the poor, and humanity as a whole.

As i'm concern about my Haiti. After an Heavy natural disaster It's become back dated. And bearing unmeasurable sufferings. Still now it's facing crisis from all sides, created from the Earth Quake as well as by nature. But It's time to change the day, So request all of you to come forward to make tha days ahead distinctly.
I think at this moment HAITI really needs help to be rebuild.Outgoing Haitian President René Préval has set the presidential elections for Nov. 28, 2010.
According to ma justification,
Haiti Election Candidates should be under consideration as a deserving personality,
who can supply the best support and leadership
Thank you.

People like Pat Robertson, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, etc. pander to people who are too mentally lazy to think for themselves. That's not complicated but it is dangerous.

Pat Robertson Prophet for Profit

The bible is pretty clear on what happens to false prophets if I remember correctly.

Several times near New Year Robertson has announced that God told him several truths or events that would happen in the following year. "I have a relatively good track record," he said. "Sometimes I miss."

It isn't just one time either with this scumbag.

To begin 2007, Christian Broad Network leader Pat Robertson made what has now become an annual series of predictions on world events he says will unfold during the year ahead. Robertson states that during a prayer retreat God told him late 2007 will witness a “mass killing” in the United States resulting from a major terrorist attack. “I’m not necessarily saying it’s going to be nuclear,” he said during CBN’s The 700 Club. “The Lord didn’t say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that.”

In May 2006, Robertson declared that storms and possibly a tsunami would hit America's coastline sometime in 2006. Robertson supposedly received this revelation from God during an annual personal prayer retreat in January. The claim was repeated four times on The 700 Club.
In late 1976, Robertson predicted that the end of the world was coming in November or October 1982. In a May 1980 broadcast of The 700 Club he stated, "I guarantee you by the end of 1982 there is going to be a judgment on the world."

Robertson was talking about women and I heard him say one time, all these women getting degrees and going off to work these jobs, etc. I thought "yes Pat, women are empowering themselves and your point?"! Then he showed his real color, (devilish red) and said, " it's all witchcraft". I about fell over, then the anger kicked in thinking how most of the world is poor and of course the poorest are women. Did this moron ever think maybe God judges those, who in this time of need for the poor of Christ, here and there; That we "must" help ease their pain and suffering... "period" and not attack another's religion as he always does in implying his morbid fear in that they worship the devil. I always know there " is" a devil... When I hear one, see one and it is only humankind like Pat Robertson ?

Many Christian sects don't have a good record of turning the other cheek, or defending the poor and disposessed ,so he isn't wholly untypical.

I am just curious; what is the predominant religion in Hell? Christianity?

Paat Roberson is a hoary old fool, super conservative to the christion couch potatos, to lazy to go to church or do actual work for a charitable cause. He caters to fear of the Devil as the root of ills visited on humality and yet blames them on God; Slighty ambigious??? His brains are about as coddled at the eggs he had this morning.

He is raising his son to be the heir of this homophobic, misogenistic, racist branch of perverse Christianity. He is old testament in his edicts which means there is niohope for salvation. This is the point of the Old Testament, isn't it? kill all the women, children, men, animals, and salt the earth? Not much glimmer of salvation here. Maybe I would be right with slavation, And this is from where Pat orchastrates his edicts and pontifications. Don't be swayed by his reptilian demeanor; he bites.
