Storytellers for Good [VIDEO]

After inadvertently delivering the news of her mother’s death to a teenage girl, Cara Jones began a journey to rediscover herself. She was frustrated by all the negative focus of local news programs, so she started Storytellers for Good to capture the inspiring true life tales that are all around, but often ignored.

Storytellers for Good is a group of journalists dedicated to bringing positive news into the forefront. The team consists of videographers who also do social media and web development. They’ve created stories about changing the lives of kids behind bars, disabled sailors,  a fundraising club and other nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area.  These videos are brief, like a normal news segment, but filled with pure emotion that leaves you feeling better, instead of terrified to walk the streets of your nearest city.

Check out more of their uplifting videos on their website.

I love that someone stopped in his life, to change the world. Also called, "pass it on."

I think they should have a good news channel that you can watch every day. I think it would make a more positive world.
