Walker Supporters Plan To Destroy Recall Petitions

Anyone who has been monitoring the events in Wisconsin since Gov. Scott Walker and his cronies took over knows that corruption with this crew runs far and deep. Now that the official recall campaign launches Tuesday, the potential for more misdeeds is greater then ever.

The latest scheme is apparently to burn and shred recall petitions and to mislead Wisconsinites about the recall process.

The blog PolitiScoop first reported about the plans, linking back to Facebook posts that detailed them. They include having conservatives pose as recall supporters and gather signatures, only to later destroy the petition. They also include telling Wisconsinites that they may only sign one recall petition, despite the fact that Wisconsin law allows otherwise.

Destroying or defacing an official recall petitions would violate state law. It’s a class I felony, punishable by a fine of $10,000 and up to three-and-a-half years in jail. But Walker’s supporters are apparently not only totally ignorant of the consequences, they are brazen in their plan to break the law. Just take a look at these screenshots bragging about their plans.

Gov. Scott Walker and his supporters continue playing dirty politics at the expense of constituents. With stakes only getting higher, we can expect the tricks and all-out lawbreaking to escalate. But if there is one thing that can keep the faith for those of us who believe in democracy and the rule of law it is that the movement that started in Madison has not stopped, and it will not stop until these clowns are gone.

The death threats are disturbing. I suspect the threats to destroy petitions are hot air, but it does inform you as to the IQ level and ethics of some Walker supporters.

Wow...bragging about it on the internet for all to see? These people are no smarter or better than criminals who get caught b/c they posted about their illegal acts online, which the cops later found. But hey, it just goes to show how scared Walker and his cronies are that he might be forced out if they have to resort to lawbreaking!

Uhm, if I was on FB and I stated that I was about to rape, murder, or rob someone or some other felony, would I not be subject to being turned in to the police?
Does anyone know the legality of that situation?
If that's an affirmative, shouldn't a warrant go out to Snuckerburg to release the names of those posting that they intend to commit felonies?
Just asking.

Walker is a weasel and I hope they get rid of him. Along with the various other republicon governers who have overstepped their bounds in a big, big way. We got one chance to stop the insanity in the next elections. Vote them out! Look at Michigan, taken by the overlords, city by city. That is not DEMOCRACY! These guys are making police states, cutting off their residents rights and ignoring laws or public opinions in order to be 'king' of that state. We do not have kings in this country, so let us fight them all the way! Otherwise, before you know it, we will have individual state rules and they can literally cut us off from each other in hundreds of ways. And prosecute us for whatever crimes they find, great business for those privatized prisons!

Spread the protest.

Corporations have over-powered our government which now believes that out-sourcing and off-shoring of U.S. jobs is inevitable and necessary with expectations that the middle class should fall on their swords. It is the underlying cause of the financial collapse and borders on national security with the loss of our middle class tax base. Yet, this nation does nothing, not even demand it be restricted by whatever method. International businesses are doing the UN-AMERICAN activity of destroying U.S. salaries, U.S. businesses that hire in the U.S., and as an end result, destroying the U.S. marketplace while still demanding BUSINESS ENTITLEMENTS and protections for themselves.

Infrastructure spending and tax breaks will not replace enough jobs to keep up with the hemorrhaging loss of U.S. jobs from out-sourcing over seas. Neither party will do anything about it unless we begin grass roots efforts to protest out-sourcing and off-shoring of U.S. jobs. If nothing is done we will deserve what we get and it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

Several of those people have indicated a clear intent to commit a felony, the first of which is apparently conspiracy. Please contact the Wisconsin Department of Justice -

The more reports they receive, the more seriously they will likely consider the issue.

Facebook needs to cancel these people's account and report them to the authorities.

I envy the people in Wisconsin being given the opportunity to get rid of their dirt bag governor. I wish that those of us who live in Florida had the same opportunity. Unfortunately, our Constitution does not allow for recall elections & as long as Scott & his Tea Bagger buddies are running the state, we will never have that opportunity.

The problem I have with current politics is they used to be sneaky because they would prosecuted if they actually tried something like this. Now they are totally out in the open about it and no one seems to be able to stop this ongoing abuse of the manipulators. Since money runs politics the country's moral and ethical values have fallen by the wayside.

It's one thing to sneak around and hope you don't get caught. But it's something else to blatantly announce your intentions without worry of anyone caring enough to stop it. It's either that or it's just a scare tactic.

Besides, what if these people are running the whole country instead of the state of Wisconsin? Too bad Wisconsin couldn't get the Occupy Wall Streeters from all over the country to show up for this recall.

If the right to vote them out is taken away what else have you got? GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS!!!!
