25 Fun Ways to Season Stove-Popped Popcorn

Today is the day that you pass over that unhealthy fake butter and opt for one of these insanely good, homemade, stove-popped alternatives instead. You will find no artificial flavors in these delicious recipes. The popcorn itself is a breeze to make!

Start by heating a 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil in a large saucepan with a lid. Drop three or four popcorn kernels into the pan to monitor when the pan is hot enough to use. Once those few kernels start popping, add 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels to the pan and shake gently over the heat until the popping slows to a few seconds between pops. Pour into a large bowl, drizzle an oil of your choice then season however you like! I’d recommend using melted coconut oil for sweeter seasonings, and olive or sunflower oil for the savory ones.

  • 1T crushed dried dill
  • 1/2t garlic salt

15) Salted Caramel

  • 1.5T dark brown sugar
  • 2T powdered sugar
  • 1/2T cane sugar
  • 1t sea salt

16) Honey Cinnamon Spice

  • 2T honey
  • 2T cane sugar
  • 1/2t sea salt
  • 1-2T cinnamon

17) Ranch

  • 1T onion powder
  • 1t garlic powder
  • 2t crushed dried parsley
