Studies have only been conducted in laboratories and on animals and the results were not promising.
Keep in mind that turmeric is only about 3% curcumin and your body does not absorb curcumin well. Be prepared to eat several pounds to derive any potential benefits!

*** make sure you are eating healthy foods as Inflammation is mostly the cause of Arthritis and joint pain etc. Reduce your sugar and sugary intake as that brings about Inflammation and its when there is too much in the system that ones body begins to scream..........stop feeding me sugar!

No taste, Its not spicy either. Virtually not taste at all. You can buy it in capsule form as well. Look out for where the Turmeric comes from. India is recommended b/c they protect Turmeric and also make sure that you read on the back of the packet that is is 100% Curcuma Longa

another way of getting Turmeric is to seek out the Turmeric root which looks rather orangey but it looks like ginger. Turmeric is part of the Ginger family anyway. In India they also call it ' Yellow Saffron'.

Just peel it and grate some into your cooking and crack a bit of pepper into your cooking as well. It is the Curcumin which is the active ingredient of Turmeric that makes the Turmeric so good for you BUT by adding a few cracks of cracked pepper actually boosts the Curcumin by a whopping 2000%. Yes thats correct .. by 2000%

Turmeric has been recorded as helping 600 health issues and can be used to help heal animals esp if they have arthritis and joint issues. Its also good for infected wounds and for people too.

Mix a blob of New Zealand Manuka honey 10 strength is what i used and into it mix in Turmeric powder to create a paste. Apply with clean Q tip buds and apply a wound dressing. Do this 2 times a day and within days you will discover the wound on your animal or yourself is completely healed and that goes for all Staph infections. I know b/c I did it on my self with a rare Staph infection contracted from a major operation I had earlier this year.

Do a Google Search on the Benefits of Turmeric and you will be amazed. There has been lots and lots of test studies on Turmeric and the results have been amazing to everyone and the researchers too. Drs and Vets are now recommending using Turmeric therapeutically.
