Conscious Self-Creation

Congratulations. You’re a month along in this exciting journey. You set out to do something new, like learning archery or volunteering at a soup kitchen or enjoying life more, and something bigger happens along the way. You’ve become more aware of yourself–how you get in your own way, how you get unstuck, how you sustain momentum. And because how you do anything is how you do everything, what you’re learning applies not only to archery or becoming happier, but to everything in your life. You now know much more about how you tick, what motivates and discourages you, and what inner qualities you have available to apply to any situation. This kind of self-confidence is not the kind obtained by surface affirmations, but one hewn of the sweat of lived experience. You know you can do what you set your mind to because you have.

When we set an intention and follow through with it into action, ultimately we are involved in the grand act of conscious self-creation. Rather than being stuck with the way we are now, we can actually choose the habits of mind and qualities of soul we wish to cultivate. We can consciously choose the behaviors and skills we wish to learn, the life we wish to have, and follow through to a successful conclusion. Not perfectly, not always, because we all come with a load of baggage and life isn’t always kind or fair. But to a much greater degree than we could before because we’ve had an experience of success to draw on. In these ways, creating a new habit brings us two precious spiritual gifts: Hope, that our future will be brighter than today through the efforts we make, and faith, that we can bring into being more of what we desire in ourselves and in our lives.

What more do we need to weave a life of meaning and beauty?

Each of us has the opportunity to change and grow until our very last breath. Happy creating.

I too am becoming present within the world. Meditative and reflective breathing will help jumpstart and conclusive beauty since lifespan is limited. Like the saying is your only obligation....>Namaste

All I can say is the timing of this message, whether divine, random or just timely hit home. I am working on caring for my partner who is severely ill and has been in the hospital for one month today. He has been in the hospital several times over the past 8 months and this is the most critical time spent there. I am practicing my Gestalt training and being present and learning what is happening here - how to 'be' - for myself and for him, while we see where this journey is heading. It is a scary place/time to be in, yet it is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thank you.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. great start. keep going. Actions flow from not start the process. Most important to gain balance though alignment of thoughts with higerself's desires. check out teachings of Abraham through Ester and JErry Hicks. I have read several of thier books, but the most recent Money and the Law of Attraction, I have found to be exeptionally practical, as lesat for me.
Life's not the strugle we make it, that strugle actually attracts more of what we don't want. Really cool teachings. Toughest part is learning how to use your emotional guideance system as Abraham terms it to pivot negative thought to positive aspects so that allignment of conscious thoughts matches and therefore is a vibrational match to your true desires. Then law of attraction is bringing you what you truely want and THEN YOU ACT. Action is the art of enjoying what you have allowed into your experience. The vibrational allignment is not optional and has to be gotten right before any action will be pleaseing. Heavy stuff, Journey is a BLAST. Community is great idea and fun too, BUT, only you can control and change your own thoughts.
