DIY: Painted Dresser Drawers

Here’s a clever idea for adding interest to an old dresser: drawers painted in complementary colors.

Above: Seattle architect, designer, and furniture maker Roy McMakin is known for his quirky take on traditional forms; see more at Matthew Marks Gallery.

Above: Japanese firm Playmountain came up with this clever modular dresser; we especially like the combination of white, yellow, and gray components. Image via Fine Ting Og Sjokolade.

Above: This dresser was featured in a sports-themed room by Audrey Brandt, part of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. Image via Anh-Minh.
