Enjoy the Best Gift of Your Life: YOU!

Nancy Ferrari shares her thoughts on what matters in life.

Along the journey in my life, I have accepted the affirmation that I AM the gift in my life. I never could have imagined considering this belief prior to my transformational path of self-awareness to accept that I AM the gift.

It was when I denied the gift of a friend’s compliment that prompted an immediate life changing transformation. My friend was disappointed when I didn’t accept her compliment that I am a gift in life, which was her gift to me. Imagine if I told you that you truly are the gift in your life. Would you accept it with gratitude or resistance?

With curious eyes in life, I observe how some people navigate through life effortlessly with ease and grace, while others struggle to move forward in life, no matter how hard they try. The solution is quite simple in that it’s all about your state of mind! Disempowering or negative thoughts and language will always hold you back or keep you stuck in life. On the flipside, empowering and positive thoughts will propel you upward in life!

As I relate to visuals, I encourage you to visualize yourself hiking with a 10 pound rock in your backpack with the goal of reaching the mountain top. Quite challenging to say the least, but when you decide to remove the heavy load in your backpack, your hike will flow with ease as you’ve lightened the load and you’ll experience the freedom of movement as you attain the goal of reaching the peak!

The same can be said for your emotional baggage and deciding when you are finally done with carrying it within you… your proverbial internal backpack….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

on changing from within from a non denominational saint:

"If you can find your own faults without developing an inferiority complex, and can keep busy correcting yourself, then you will be using your time much more profitably than wishing others to be better. Your good example will do more to change others than your words or wishful thinking.

Like attracts like. Whatever you want others to be, first be that yourself, then you will find others responding in like manner to you. If you want to be loved, start loving others who need your love. If you expect others to be honest with you, then start being honest yourself. If you want others to sympathize with you, start showing sympathy to those around you. If you want to be respected, you must learn to be respectful to everyone, both young and old. If you want a display of peace from others, you must be peaceful yourself."
