Hate Gyms? 8 Equipment-Free Exercises You Can Do From Home

Gyms can be expensive and inconvenient. Many of us only have 30-minute windows of free time, if that. But that’s no excuse for becoming sedentary!

Regular exercise contributes to increased happiness, longer life expectancy and even better memory. You should do some form of exercise every day.

These are some of the many strength-building and toning exercises that can be done from the comfort of your home. They’re also great for folks who travel often on business and may not have regular gym access.

Don’t forget to warm up and stretch!

1. Pushup

The world’s greatest exercise? Perhaps.

2. Triangle Push-up

Use these for extra focus on the triceps.

3. Plank

Strengthen your core, shoulders, arms and glutes.

4. Glute Bridge

Tone your butt while supporting back health.

5. Superman

Strengthen your lower back.

6. Squats

Another must for the perfect butt!

7. Bicycle

Sculpt your obliques.

8. Burpees

Burpees are an intense full-body exercise. They are not for folks with knee or back issues.
