"Let go and let God"--easy to say, almost impossible for (some of us) to do!

Thanks Gabby really good insight. After I read this I thought look for the heart of the matter. Also I like what Shelia L said, I have found if I have a difficult situation that I can't change then I try hard to just give it to God and let it go into His hands to fix the situation eg someone with a health problem. When I truly let it go I have so often discovered the problem gets solved. So long as I don't fret over it. I have to consciously let it go and leave it in His hands and almost forget about it. It takes practice but the result is well worth it. I once had a situation I was praying about and these thoughts came to my mind. 'If you give a toy to a toy maker but you don't release the toy how can he then mend the toy? He can't fix it until you let it go."

All I know is if you let go and let god and keep your heart there, you will be led through hard, hard times and windows will open or thoughts will come to tell you where the window actually is rather than where we have been looking for light.
