One of the anomilies of living in a country supposed to love animals. Why our Government has not banned the use of animals in Circuses is beyond my comprehension. it's not as if Circuses are sitting on reserves of oil which is a common reason for deferring to something and they don't usually pay taxes as they are not fixed accommadation bases. Animal welfare is something Defra is very good at getting wrong.Anyway the cover up over foot and mouth leaking out through the poorly maintained drains of gov't secret experimental labs cos they where to tight to spend money on fixing it, resulting in thousands of cattle burnt on pires, the vehicles used to transport infected cattle being disposed of into vehicle fleets that may well have been used to transport human food, badger culling to placate farmers many of whom don't won't it, totally inadequate inspection of animal dealers. The list of their incompetence is endless so why should one be surprised if they can't see the inherent abuse of animals in travelling circuses!

What a bunch of hypcrites. They are now bragging about this? Look to their abuse of all their other animals. This should just spur activists on to hammer the Bolivian government more than ever before.
