Human overpopulation is an animal rights issue as well as an environmental issue and a human rights issue. Human activities, including mining, transportation, pollution, agriculture, development, and logging, take habitat away from wild animals as well

Humans kill (govts. call it cull, I call it kill or murder) animals to control their numbers. I ask, what right do we have to say how many is to much? If any animal is over populating the planet its us. I also feel that by killing these animals there is a possibility that it is stopping the evolutionary process.

I'll tell you wnat -if I woke up tomorrow and there was not a human standing (but my friends in CARE and animal rights)-I wouldn't give it a moment's thought. I wrote them off as a total loss a long time ago!

I wish that human violent temperaments and stupidity were a terminal disease. We could lose over half the population from them dying out. #1 I would hope to lose are the animal abusers.

I think criminals should be forced to donate their organs, then be put to rest. Yes very radical, I know...but won't it be a good lesson for them to be forced to give back?

This is so sad. I really hope that solutions will be found so that it will be ok.

Overpopulated countries should have a birth control policy. I love children but it is really a miracle to rase a child properly under unfriendly environments, under bad economic conditions and under violence, wars,e.t.c.
On the other hand I can't think that somebody will be prohibited to have a child, since this means abolition of his human rights, but at least countries like India, China and others with huge population growing numbers have to get control of this situation, since the increase of human activitiesit affect badly humans and animals as well.

Please read my petitions advocating municipal environmental contraception funding, which is increasingly politically realistic due to The Big Sort in more and more towns, and helps women's right's, quality of life, and school taxes as well as being at least 5 times more cost-effective than any other environmental effort.

You cannot deny what is staring you in the face, the earth is overpopulated by humans and that is the truth of the matter.
