This is terrible. Did they ban GMO"s in the UK? I know these plants are having terrible effects on bees killing any that touch the plants pollen or not.
Thanks Cher

only in Ireland, I didn't realize they murdered the bees too, we have enough problems with incecticides with bees without this too, would love to raise some along with bats to help with the bugs around here

I am so sorry, England!! It is a hard thing to bear, losing these extremely vital little guys!! We in California can relate to you on this. We have lost most our bees as well. I was told that there is a killer fungus that is a big part of the trouble. We certainly have messed this planet up for all of the other life-forms, - - - HAVEN'T WE???!!!!!!!
The California Almond crop cannot happen without bees, as that is the ONLY way they can pollenate!!!!!!!!! That cash crop is in very serious danger!!!!!!!!

I've heard that this is a world-wide problem. It only gets notice from the countries like those in UK and North America that actually track and report it. Thanks Cher

It started with Pesticides, Hybrid plants, and then GM...
Now starvation as more people farm the land. I don't understand why Wildflowers are not allowed to grow in Orchards at least. Common sense tells me that it wouldn't harm the fruit, and would be beneficial in attracting pollinators.

How sad! :(

Thanks Cher!

The EU want all EU countries to accept GM. Bees Action Network are working hard to prevent this and to help countries which have got GM to get rid of it. GM is deadly for bees, deadly for wildlife, deadly for soil and the envrionment, and harmful for us. Ask people in the US - they have had GM foisted upon them for years. We have a petition calling for a total ban on GM crops throughout the world at please could you sign it and pass it on to as many people as possible...thank you
