The RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre has launched a jewellery recycling appeal to help raise vital funds needed to look after the unwanted animals in its care.

That's a good idea indeed!
One thing has always bugged me you know and that is it is the ROYAL Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, so why does the royal family not fund it??? An organisation like this should not have to rely on raising funds when there are rich folks sitting on their butts that could dip into their pockets.
