I found out about Earth Hour last yr. from It is a good thing in my opinion. Even though we try to turn off used lights, etc., it reminds me of how wasteful we are as a nation. I'll be noting my calendar to join in again this yr!

Well i think that it may bring some technical problems. The thing is everyone is going to switch off the electricity 4 an hour, but then everybody is going to switch it back on demanding a huge amount of electricity from the grid which can lead to an increase of fossil fuels usage from the energy suppliers and/or some local grid problems, so to avoid this i recommend that you'll do like i will - instead of 60 min do a little more 65 - 75 min that should ease the demand...and it should avoid an increase of fossil fuels spent on an peak demand of energy. But even so do it -!P
