Rainbow Bridge gained a Angel that will not be confined in a zoo no more.

Even though they were zoo animals maybe they were doing okay considering how old they lived to be....I hope that anyway.

RIP Waldo. Apparently he had a good life at his zoo home. Nice to hear that for a change.

The bear lived far longer in the zoo than he would have lived in the wild. It's a sad end for old carnivores who can't find/catch food for themselves. This bear was loved and well cared-for.

Thank you Cher!

At least this special bear died in his sleep -- though he had to live in a zoo hurts me, but the way the world is going for sure he probably lived longer in there than outside sadly.

More news at site on others..

Thank you....RIP dear Waldo and you probably made a impact on a TON of childrens lives seeing you and hope they understand the WONDER OF CREATURES!!!!

Thank you Cher for this sad story. Glad he passed peacfully instead of some horrible death I think anyway.
His spirit will be in the wild again.

I 'met' this bear a couple of times! My wife is from Winnipeg and he was sure a grand old guy! They treated him like a king!
