Anecdotal evidence that carnivores eat fruit has been backed up by new research. Scientists at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) have shown that meat-eating animals such as foxes and martens play an important role in helping fruiting plants

The foxes and martens love the fruit...and are helping the environment in fruiting plants by dispersing the seeds. LOVE the pic BTW....Good article. TY, Cher for this.

Fantastic! I love foxes!
By the way, I have some plush foxes at home as mascots and once I bought some plastic pears, put them in front of my foxes and said: What do plush foxes eat? Plastic pears!
