Mill Mountain Zoo's Snow Leopard Boris, 19, Euthanized Friday

The snow leopard had reached the ripe old age of 19, and was suffering from normal, age-related illnesses. He was not eating well, had difficulty moving, and was receiving pain medication for comfort, said the zoo's animal collection curator, Robin Lentz

Noted., He lived a long life & now he suffers no more & has crossed the Rainbow Bridge where he is free of pain & now has a wonderful life. Bless his little heart. Thanks Cher

Hope he had a lovely life and was happy and taken care of well, even tho he wasn't 'free'.....snow leopards are so unearthly beautiful that they hardly look his mate, China, sad?

It sounds like Boris had a good, long life. They should give China a lot of extra attention, so she isn't so lonely.
