Good information, another is that when you start you engine with the A/C on, you should drop down the windows and allow the silent killer Benzene to exit from your car. Benzene is a known carcinogen, and is release from your A/C unit.

Noted and something I never even thought of - due to high temperatures on hot summer days, the concentration of Volatile Organic Compounds inside cars is increased, and car occupants get exposed to some pretty toxic chemicals, such as bromine, chlorine, and lead. Gearhart says that these chemicals are not regulated, and people donít know that they their health is at risk.
