UK Introduces Hedgehog Road Sign to Protect Precious Wildlife

The Department for Transport (DfT) in the UK has introduced a new road safety sign featuring the image of a hedgehog in a bid to protect small mammals, as well as drivers, from being injured and killed.

tyfs. We have bought a sign ourselves and put it on a wall on the drive into our small (5 houses, only one is ours!) estate. We have 4-5 hedgehogs visit every night which we feed with bought specialist hedgehog food, it is delightful to watch them on our light summer nights
