Atlantic Puffin numbers on the Isle of May, off Scotland's east coast, have dropped by 30% over the last five years after a period of almost 40 years of rapid population increase. The Isle of May is home to the largest colony of puffins in the North Sea

all birds are beautiful in their own way & character! Although it is hard to see a vulture as beautiful.....But they are here for a reason as the puffins are.

The puffins & hummingbirds are my favorite birds........
