Otters are getting some extra help to cross a busy road in Staffordshire thanks to a "subway" created by wildlife charity workers.

That sounds absolutely cool, that these caring people would do that for the otters! Sounds like something that we need for our pukeko bird! They are not very roadwise, and some people don't help, when they don't stop for them!

This is GREAT maybe someday someone will come up with other ways to save the other animals that are road dum also... I will hope that day comes fast.. cuz it will benfit both t he animals & the humans ... but this is really great news.. Otters are neat...I can understand that.. we have a culvert pipe here that has been blocked now for 4 years,, finally we complained so much that the Highway Dept. cleaned it... but my husband makes sure it stays clear.. maybe other critters use it now.. that would be a nice thought,,, less coon deaths or other small critters... Thanks Cher for the insight..
