Currently living under the same roof with Sato is her 84-year-old bedridden grandmother, her 21-year-old younger sister - who has cerebral palsy ans is usually in a care facility but at home on weekends - her parents and four pets.

Naoko, thank you so much for reminding us of the extremely painful and personal emotional tolls this disaster has wreaked on those who live in the most damaged areas.

My heart goes out to you, yours and all Japanese citizens.

Thanks for the encouraging comment, Carole. I can do only little to help or support the people who've been suffering in the disaster-hit areas, but I'd like the whole world to know that "nuke" is too dangerous for us to handle.

Very sad - and is affecting many - it gets off our US news and people tend to forget about it - they will have problems for decades. Noted.

I read recently that they are considering evacuating Tokyo. She might as well stay where she is. I believe it is much worse than we are being told. The radiation here in the U.S. is much higher than we are told also.
