Just Imagine......a shift from I llness to WE llness

The Vision

A deep sense of interconnectedness, or oneness, is at the core of decisions and actions that are life affirming and good for the whole. In other words, it will bring forth an environmentally sustainable, fulfilling and socially just human presence.

The omni present invisible field of electric and magnetic energy connects us all.

Energy follows thoughts and feelings. What we focus on is what we manifest and attract. These are the universal laws of manifestation and attraction.

Proven by quantum science.

By organising a global 24 hour event with a focus and concentration on celebrating interconnectedness, we manifest and attract more of what we want on a global scale: a greater sense of interconnectedness as a foundation for a world that works for all life.

A shift from separation to oneness, a shift from Illness to WEllness.

Interesting. I opened this at about 8:56 AM and just had time to read quickly through it. I began to feel calm just after reading it. Moments before I had been in instant deep sorrow when glancing through the International Rett Syndrome obituaries of the girls in the US that have passed away due to Rett Syndrome complications. I can feel it now, that there is help on the way. There will be a therapy to help the girls soon. They are so very courageous how can I not be anything but bursting with hope. We need to move away from the nay sayers and continue on this journey of hope. Thank you Marion for sending this on.

Elena...I love that theme too. When we stop thinking of "me" and begin to think of "we," the healing begins.

Yvonne...A good reference to always remember what this day represents to you...peace, love, harmony.

Jaette...A shift in consciousness is just a thought away. I'm so glad you received this message.

Thanks Marion. This is truly wonderful. Ity is fine to focus on the "I" at times to make sure you are taking care of yourself. But every once in awhile (at least- if not every day), you need focus on the community, the country and the world. We are, after all, interconnected more than some want to admit.

We should all "Pay it forward"

What are the odds that when I opened the video I glanced at my clock and it was 9:09AM exactly.

Nancy...I agree. If we don't take care of ourselves first, we are of little benefit to others. Thanks for mentioning "Pay it forward." There are countless ways we can help others...and it doesn't necessarily have to involve money. A smile...encouragement...sympathy...appreciation...being there...sitting in silence as a way of support...

Jaette...What a coincidence!!

Jodi...Yes, there is so much fear going on that it can be contagious. When I saw this video, it helped me...and I knew it would help others.

Nine is the number of completion and fulfillment at its most filling until it spills over into ten and demands a new beginning.

Astrologically, nine corresponds to Sagittarius and the Ninth House. There is a sense of expansion and a world where life has meaning and everything is interconnected. Nine is the perfection of three when multiplied by itself. There are nine planets, nine major gods in the ancient pantheons, and larger pantheons are often divisible by the number nine.

Numerologically, however, the date 09-09-2009 translates to the number eleven (9 + 9 + 2 + 9 = 29, or 2 +9), a "master number" and the number of angelic presence. Eleven is associated with Aquarius and the "lightbringers." Eleven is the number of spiritual ascension and connection to multidimensional reality.

But will this day be different than any other? That, my friends, is up to you alone.

Kim...and many more THANKS TO YOU! I was hoping you would bring your wisdom with astrology and numerology into this. Sagittarius represents HIGHER LEARNING. As you mentioned, Aquarius represents "light bringers" and UNIVERSAL FRIENDSHIP. So today is perfect for focusing on interconnectedness.

Yes, it is up to each of us to make today and any other day different than the others.

This is a date to remember. I did not think about it until you post. I am on my laptop just outside the hospital's emergency room as I write. How poignant to the hearing about a shift from illness to wellness in a place like this. Thank you for the wonderful posting.

Betsy...I hope all is well with you and yours. Those who have access to medical care are fortunate. Yet, being interconnected is an important part of the healing process. Prayer, meditation, focused thought and other methods help heal. When done together, the results are better. When done in a universal way, the results can be BREATHTAKING and TRANSFORMING on a grand scale.

I signed in late and missed the 9 am deadline. I'll try to tune into Alaska time and interconnect there. Actually, maybe we all should; they could probably use some extra help up there right now.

Interconnectedness is based on what insulates or isolates people not being in the way. Culture and religion do this because human nature, our biological predisposition, dictates or at least strongly influences our culture, religions, and social structures.

We need to recognize our animal origins and see ourselves for who we really are before we can find sincere commonality and form real connectedness. Today we form connections based on politics, race, religion, and language. We need to see beyond our cultures. It is like looking at the earth and seeing the trees and mountains, but not understanding their evolution or changes to become what we see today. We are the same. We have evolved from other mammals and now think we are god's gift to the world, but is that our beginning? There is where we divide.

We divide and hope others will side with us while we flounder in fantasies given to us by our ancestors. It is a mental world that has little to do with the age of mountains or stars and certainly nothing to do with evolving from small rodent like creatures that survived the great extinction of the dinosaurs by living in holes in the ground and eating whatever they could find, but that is who we really are.

Humility is where we need to begin. We are who we are and nothing more. We can't fly, so birds are superior to us in their winged adaptation, We can't live in water, so fish and aquatic animals are our superior in the water. We can't do what other species do and we should be observant and live in harmony with what we do have and can do and respect others for what they can do and not do. It is one world and we are part of it. We are connected and our cultures have separated us from a perspective of our interconnectedness.

People share 98% of their genes with the great apes, which means we have not too distant uncles and aunts from great grandfathers of evolving creatures like ourselves. Why can't we see the connections? Religious leaders fear for their very identity if we did, so we follow the culture of fear and denial.

The world is reaching a turning point with global warming that will melt the permafrost in Greenland and the Polar caps, releasing 100 times more CO2 than is currently in the atmosphere now. "Scientists calculate that about 500 gigatons (Gt) of carbon is locked away in yedoma permafrost. One gigaton is equal to one billion tons. (from http://www.livescience.com/environment/060615_permafrost_carbon.html) 2006. Now they are saying that the permafrost may release twice what they previously estimated. . . .

Our interconnectedness must start with more than our narrow minded cultural views. We must become insightful enough to see our differences between the Chinese, Peruvians, Pygmies, Aborigines, to Europeans and Africans are nothing compared to the differences we have when compared to the Great Apes, and we share 98% of their genes, so they are VERY SIMILAR and CONNECTED to us.

Humility is knowing what we know is a process that never ends, it ebbs and flows, regresses and progresses, we find and lose what we thought was right or wrong and we learn. When we stop learning we start dying. When we stop being humble and start being culturally superior we start our own destruction and grow more ignorant.

How long can we live unconnected, ignorant, in denial, and destroying ourselves in our religious centered supremacy based cultures that come from Alpha Male macho biologically based male godz and their powerful political priests and false profits? It seems we can never get beyond the biological roots that hold us to our ignorant but biological predispositions, so we divide, hate, see perpetual war and suffering.

We are our brother's keeper, we are the nephew of apes and the cousin of fish and birds because we are another life form and nothing more. We can never be more humane and transcend our biological predisposition until we recognize it and live as one with all life and the earth.

One World

Peace

Northern...I love you too, regardless of what side of the street we live on. You are welcome to join in here at any time. This is not about politics, it's about sharing, caring outside of our little worlds. Thanks for stopping by.

Casey...Your comment is PROFOUND, MOVING, INSPIRING and EDUCATIONAL. Thank you!!!

We are so caught up in our egos and the things we have learned from man, that we can become disconnected from human nature and what is real. I'm reminded how we have a tendency to fear so many things. If we are in tune with nature, we realize the only thing we have to really fear is...ourselves. When we embrace humanity and all living things, the world opens up to us and we are able to help heal the planet.

Your points ring loud:

Humility

See beyond our cultures

Avoid fear and denial

Embrace differences

Avoid division and hate

We are our brother's keeper

We are connected with all life forms

We are simply another life form...and nothing more

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us, my friend!!

Lady L...Thanks for stopping by. It doesn't have to just be an idea. Feel free to join in and step outside of politics for a moment or two. This is a wonderful way for us all to help heal the planet...and ourselves.

Barry...You're a sweetheart. Thanks for inviting your friends. They are welcome here.

Barbara...You're welcome. Just trying to keep up with you, dear. :) :)

Mary...Good for you! We can do this any hour of any day for the rest of our lives.

Whatever we focus on, that is our reality. We try so hard to make change happen. But as Casey pointed out so well, remembering who we are...simply, no greater or lesser than other living things...by caring, sharing and focusing on the greater good, we CAN create a better world. We can CREATE a better world through our thoughts.

Although I slept right through 9 am, don't you think that EVERY DAY should be 09/09/09? Yes, it's a spiritual day, and one of special recognition, but I'm all for living our life in We llness every day! It's nice to stop and realize the specialness of the day, but, just like Valentine's day is a day singled out for "love".....this day should be rejoiced in, and lived....with care & concern & interconnectedness on a daily basis! Let's move on with this inspiration in our hearts....EVER-yday!

Barry, honestly hon bless your littel heart.
But again I will say i am very far from ultra-conservative.

I am Pro-choice and Pro-gay marriage along with several other issues that exclude me from that title.
Just because I believe in the constitution and in individual rights and liberties does not make me a 'Ultra" anything.except maybe "ultra" tattooed and pierced.
I sit in the middle.
It is only because I differ with you and others on other issues that makes you label me as such.
So I will make you a deal,do not label me and I will not label you,and we can leave it at that.
God's blessings to all.

Thanks Marion for the lovely thought of a day to connect with people, instead of keep ourselves so isolated from everyone we don't know well.

Don't know if this matters or not or what label might be applied, but I am a moderate, pro choice, live and let live person, and am what is usually called a Born Again Believer. This however in no way makes me a Conserviative according to the latest connotation given conservatives. Some of them actually make me ashamed to be called a Christian sometimes, because of their implacable belief that only they know the way our country should be run.

Well anyway Marion this was a really nice thing to do.

Lyn...It doesn't matter what your political or religious beliefs are. That's not what this is about. Actually, this is about ignoring those man-made systems to interconnect and embrace the good of all for these moments of celebration. Man-made systems categorize, divide and separate us from the whole, which we are all part of. When we interconnect, we manifest and attract all that is good. Love, creativity, inspiration, opportunities, and many other doors open to us when we interconnect.

Eastern Philosophy teaches this best. This is not criticism of man-made systems. However, these systems have limitations and are not perfect. Interconnectedness is always perfect because it is life affirming and good for the whole. It is natural.
