Even at India's Kaziranga National Park where rangers follow shoot-to-kill orders, poachers are laying siege to the rhinos attempting to sheer off the animals' horns to supply a surge in demand for purported medicine in China that's pricier than gold.

We need to start a public shaming campaign- "How stupid are you, to actually believe rhino horn is medicine?" or, "It's a good thing you are rich, because otherwise you would die of stupidity, thinking that rhino horn is going to fix your problem"- or whatever will be the right cultural insult to embarass people who view rhino horn, tiger parts, etc, as medicine.

China & India are the most over populated 2 countries in the world. Unfortunately those two countries are the ones who are so behind when it comes to treating humans/animals with compassion & kindness. There is a saying goes the most plentiful element on the planet , next to Oxygen is the STUPIDITY. These two countries gets the cake for that.

It is high time that the EU took serious action against this hideous trade. China does exactly as it pleases with no repercussions whatsoever. It is time for countries to restore their manufacturing base and tell China to go take a running jump until they clean up their act on many fronts.
