A post on TomCat's blog. Following up this week on the Bradley Foundation, this week which seems to me to command the intervention of the Greek Furies - at least!

I'd read bits and pieces on them separately, yet the portion of the whole you revealed Joanne is far more than the sum of the parts. Thank you

"The Stand also noted that, besides Wisconsin, Colorado, and Washington, the two states the Foundation targets most aggressively are North Carolina and Oregon." I have extended family members who live in WI, and Scott Walker is despised for everything he says & does. I don't blame them on bit either.

Good in depth article, Thank you, Joanne.

The thought of a group of extremely wealth men dishing out $100 k from a foundation – so not out of their own pockets – to have a report written which enable a state government to cut off their poor from even the little welfare they had left and at the same time blame this happening on the same poor, just to line the pockets of these extremely wealthy men even further, is utterly repugnant. Spending that foundation money on grants intended to "reform" another state's education policy, which only intended to bust teacher''s unions or to instigate and finance a myriad of activities to undermine teacher's unions in other states, is equally sickening and unconscionable.

You're absolutely right in having the Furies look towards some support against this multi-headed monster. In addition to Heracles and Iolaos, they could do with some good tips or help from a goddess who had some dealing with this type of situations: Kali, the Indian goddess of Destruction and Dissolution and vanquisher of the demon Raktabija whose drops of blood cloned a new demon. She is also known to destroy ignorance, so that's a plus. And if you really want to diversify, ask the Finnish goddess Lovatar to join in. This blind daughter of the god of death gave birth to nine diseases (including plague, sterility and cancer). That'll teach that Bradley bunch 😉
