The problem is not the bears. It is that people don't know how to coexist with them. They have to get bear proof trash containers, clean their BBQs after using, put away the bird feeders, dog food, etc. in their yards.

I have already seen photos of the dead bears...not pretty. Some were lactating mothers, which means basically the cubs will die also.

I have read articles from bear hunters, that refuse to hunt in the FL hunt because they have not done an accurate count on how many bears are actually in the state. That count was to be done in 2016...and they couldn't wait until then to have a hunt. Just tragic.
