Walker Republicans have a fascination with secrecy
Media kept out of politicos’ meeting

Blinky Kleefisch, prancing around Beloit College at a round table discussion about Wisconsin's tax code and possible changes by controversial GOP Gov. Scott Walker, closed the meeting to the press.

Probably because the tax code is heady stuff way above her head.

A reporter for the Beloit Daily News tried to attend, but was not allowed in until near the end of the event.

Kleefisch aide Casey Himebauch said believes it is "standard operating procedure" for round table discussions with business leaders. He says, "The majority of the event is closed to the press to allow the participants to speak freely without worrying about what they have to say."

Himebauch says similar events next week in Superior and Eau Claire are by invite only and will also not be open to press.

And future roundabouts will follow the same blinking format, and Blinky will continue to be available for autographs after each event.

The public will have a chance for putting their two cents on the hot-button issue later, Himebauch said.

It must embarrass state Revenue Department Secretary Rick Chandler to have Blinky’s muck-up matinee.

The world is watching the Republicans look really stupid.

Meanwhile, crazy Joel Kleefisch, Blinky’s tubby hubby, paid a $243 fine earlier this year after pleading guilty to failure to register wildlife he slaughtered in the unit of kill.

Wonder exactly what goes on behind closed door meetings like this...especially when they wouldn't be able to patch together one brain between them all. Feel sorry for the people who have to live with these boneheads, and the wildlife that seems targeted.

The Republicans look like scholars next to Obama's motley ACA crew...talk about incompetence....they are on steroids. And the lies spewing from Obama's mouth....we need a spreadsheet to keep up with our certified liar Obama.

WI is ONE FOXED up state! The people with low pay want the people with good pay to have low pay instead of the low paid wanting better pay! That's stupid that should be fixable.

Diane, how do republicans EVER look like scholars when they act like malnourished idiots?

Lies? If you get blind sided by big insurance, how is that a lie? You are really foxed in the head too. Do you ever look at yourself?

The reason that they held this meeting in private was to prevent people ridiculing them when the subject of their debate became pubic. The GOP and the Teabaggers are more and more beginning to sound like some fourth rate music hall act.
