Why is leaving meat off your plate such a recipe for achievement? Vegetarian foods are naturally low in fat and cholesterol but high in nutrients, so you will never be weighed down when you need to be on the go.

My road to vegetarianism started when I as only 11. 20 years later I have still not forgotten the road that lead to that choice & I'm glad I made that important switch. Been vegan for going on 7 years.
Animals are being abused & tortured in the most horrible ways just for the vanity of humans. Furs, leather, silk, meat, laboratory testing, hunting, zoos, circuses, animals used in "sport" - where will it all end? Will we not stop until we've poisoned every river, killed every animal & plant, polluted the air to the point that we can't breath it, spill oil into the oceans of the world, make the soil unsuitable for planting any crops or trees? The human is a terrible species. We destroy & oppress, a virus on this planet. We need to open our eyes, realize our mistakes & save what we still can, before it is too late. Vegetarianism is a start. Good for you, good for global famine, good for the animals & good for the enviroment. Salute to all the veggies out there!

Really, PETA? Yet ANOTHER ad featuring a woman in the only body type (and makeup, and computer editing) deemed attractive? This is an important message, but the way it's being said alienates a lot of feminists/gender-equalists.

If we're to be a truly progressive society, we can't put aside some of our ideals simply to promote another. We can love animals AND women.

Thanks! Also Ann G thank you for the forward...

Gotta tell you if you ever heard a sausage cook in the microwave, that will make you turn into a grazer for sure, it squeels like the sound of a pig...I felt so sick, never again....couldn't believe my mom actually ate it after listening to that horrible noise!
