I am so sad and angry. These are supposed to be the Muslim extremists. Give me a break. Looks like they were well educated, people who had a lot of promise and hope ahead of them until they lives were cut short by Israel's barbaric attack on an unarmed vessel in International Waters. These courageous people cared obviously valued human life much more so that Israel's insane government and military. Where can this ever be considered honourable, when Human Rights Activists are portrayed as the victim against the world's best trained commandos. Israel needs to hang its head in shame and begin to think on how to change their tactics.

I am not overly religious, but may God have mercy on the Israel's soul. One day, somewhere, there's going to be an accounting for Israel's acts of violence, oppression and aggression. When that day comes, I wouldn't want to be them when their bill comes due.

At the SF Protest yesterday, there were mock coffins to represent the martyrs. There was a table set up with candles and picture of the young American shot multiple times in the head. May there be justice and return! Free Palestine! End the inhumane siege on Gaza! End the occupation!

Waste of life, and while they all were so very sad I guess the young man just out of high school breaks my heart.. a have a daughter just about his age, they are just starting out in life... how could such an evil thing happen.

It is tragic and I pray for their families; however, this could have been prevented. Stop putting terrorists on these humanitarian flotillas. No one can deny that there were anti-semitic backers and people aboard who wanted confrontation. The innocent usually pay the price.

Once again, thanks for providing information I was seeking, but couldn't get from the mainstream media. It's terrible that these innocent people were murdered by the Israeli's. Now they have been buried in disgusting lies defaming their memory. As they said on X-Files, the truth is out there. You just have to wade through the garbage to find it.

Thank you, Pete. Those names, faces and bios clearly state the case of the Gaza blockade and IDF intentions. Who will write: J'accuse, as Zola did for Dreyfus on January 13, 1898?

S.L. in this post you might want to sustain from Hasbara accusations.

They are barbarians with no culture except one of fabrication. hopefully they will wake up and realise their forefathers were just barbarians and liers and ask the world to forgive them

Our little froggy friend 'Truth' is in fact our old friend 'Sashco' (Josh K, Josh Katz and many others) rearing his ugly head again. Care2 will delete him due to his previous record of abuse, personal attacks and threatening Care2 members.

Please flag him every time you see one of his many profiles.

Partner (whose?), I will not respond to your personal attack at me, because it is below my dignity.

I am not affiliated with any of your old and new friends, and, judging by your logo, I am proud of it.

Being a police person, I don't have a record of abuse, personal attacks and threatening Care2 members.

Locan, I do have plenty of friends, as if that would matter for the discussion which we are having.

Are you guys trying to put a Red Herring as soon as we looked at the issue of who started the riots on Marmara? Are you, Pete M, trying to silence me because I support Israel in its fight against Islamic terror, wherever it is coming from, and not matter under which umbrella?

Are you sure Care2 will listen to any of your desires?

I meant, "being a polite person", sorry for the misspelling.

Wednesday June 9, 2010, 9:58 am
Truth - What would Israel have to do in order for you to stop blindly supporting their actions? Why is it okay for Israel to oppress the Palestinian people. If you are referring to the people of Gaza islamic terrorists, why is the West Bank also paying the price? Those are questions, by the way, not Red Herrings.

Wednesday June 9, 2010, 9:59 am
As to your comment "Well-edicated people can be terrorists too," well I guess so can be non educated.

Wednesday June 9, 2010, 10:03 am

This could have been prevented. Stop justifying and finding excuses for Israel's behaviour. Stop allowing them to be unaccountable. Stop occupying the Occupied territories. Stop violating Human Rights. As for anti-semitic backers, it seems that the whole definition of antisemitism has changed to included anyone who voices criticism of Israel. Does that include Israeli Jews who criticize the Israeli governments actions? Or does this just making them self hating Jews?

No one should put a name to just any face because we will get eachother mixed up. This way when we see eachother we will know who we are all talking to and not guessing.

Truth;(Sashco, Josh K,etc) ''Are you, Pete M, trying to silence me because I support Israel in its fight against Islamic terror, wherever it is coming from, and not matter under which umbrella?'

No,I am flagging you cos you are banned from Care2 for your previous multiple violations of Care2s CoC under 100s of multiple profiles, ie trolling.

''Are you sure Care2 will listen to any of your desires? ''

When it comes to getting rid of disruptive trolls with a history of personal attacks & threatening Care2 members, and noting the 'Past Member' written under your avi, the answer would have to be 'Yes'. ;-)
