Monsanto has a hold on many different aspects of the world's health. From Agent Orange, a toxic chemical with life-threatening side effects used in the Vietnam War; to Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT), an insecticide deemed to be a 'threat to life;'

South Africa’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has demanded that Monsanto stop making false claims on South African radio stations. The claims in question are what one who is familiar with Monsanto would expect: ‘Monsanto would be able to feed the eight billion people by 2025 if South Africans accepted and utilized its GMO seeds;’ as well as Monsanto’s supposed ability to increase crop yields and decrease greenhouse gas emissions, which are both unsupported claims with no basis in fact. Monsanto’s claims are not peer-reviewed by an independent and credible expert, which makes the claims illegitimate for South Africans, therefore causing the advertisement ban...
