The New Orleans singer sold more than 65 million records, outselling every 1950s rock and roll act except Elvis Presley.

so sad to learn that today - and thank you for bringing it to attention to us, dear Ben!

I really hope he will finally finds his freedom on his personally BLUEBERRY HILL - he was a real inspiration for many musicians and left us so many unforgettable songs. Good evening and thank you for this article on THE LIFE OF FATS DOMINO- which i read and noted- ALSO LOVED ALL THE GOOD PICTURES AND COMMENTS FROM all who loved him- being from NEW ORLEANS-and growing up during the 50's and 60's here with all of his great music and seeing him in person IT WAS A JOY -we were so thankful when we heard he and his wife made it out of the 9 ward after KATRINA HIT AND PUT HIS HOME UNDER 20 FEET OF WATER - it was nice that he came back and resettled in a town right across the river from NEW ORLEANS - he will deeply missed - when ever i feel down-0 just play some of his music and it does the trick TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER- rest in peace dear FATS -we all love you thanks for all the great music and fabulous memories----PLAYING AT TIP'S - PLAYING AT JAZZ FEST- when I was in high school -you played for our proms- once again GOD BLESS YOU - sincerely KAY M.
