In a perfect world, ever animal would have a home. In our current world, many animals await to catch the eye of a loving family. The current proposed act would prohibit the adoption of Dobermans, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, German Shepherds, Great Danes,Pits

Signed and shared already, Thanks Lindsey I am not sure but I think I heard somewhere that after so many petitions were signed and with over 100 people showing up at the shelter protesting about this they said they were not going to do it, If this is the same place I think it is.

Had signed before. Just got this good news in a Care2 message---
You struck down the 72-hour-kill proposal in North Carolina.
Awesome. The Cumberland County Animal Control Board in North Carolina had been pushing a proposal that would have meant the killing of countless dogs within 72 hours of their entering a pound, sometimes sooner.
But within just hours after Christine Salek's petition hit 60,000 signatures, Cumberland County took the proposal off the table, and instead came up with a humane agreement that lets the dogs be adopted.

Every breed needs a home and the proper owner. All breeds should be adopted out, but potential owners need to be carefully screened.
