Eureka! The Archimedes Principle

Science & Tech  (tags: Archimedes, Eureka, inventions, buoyancy )

Archimedes was possibly the world's greatest scientist - at least the greatest in the classical age. He was a physicist, mathematician, astronomer, inventor and engineer. Many of his inventions, theories and concepts are still in use today.

The article did not mention that Archimedes also developed integral calculus, which was given its modern form in the seventeenth century by Isaac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz. Still, I did see an article about complaints a naked statue of Archimedes in Baskinstoke ... I didn't know he had been there.
