The world has gone nuts over a photograph taken by a couple, as they posed for their camera. However, a cute photograph which has generated smiles from people all over the world doesn't tell the ugly tale of how the species is treated in reality.

Thanks for the news. No matter how they make us smile throught their antics and creativity, facts will be facts.

why do the haters always get their way. my neighbor killed all the squirrels, depriving me of the enjoyment of my hillside property, and it's totally legal.

I will sign too for the survival of these cute creatures. The biggest pests are people if you ask me!

Sadly our interference with nature has skewed the balance to the point in some cses of no return and whilst this might be desirable with the genus politicciano vulgarus! All of our other species require our support. Sadly the killers don't yet seem to have found politicians in large numbers and when they do it is often the few good ones that get killed!
