Active support to Israeli oppression of Palestinians ...

One thing has happened now - the USA can no longer pretend to be a neutral party promoting peace movement. It is contributing openly, in almost every way, to the pro-Zionist Israeli policies and strategies.
With one hand, remove more and more opportunities for self-sufficiency & sustainable livelihoods of Palestinians, blocking passage between homes and work/ fields/ orchards, destroying trees & crops, etc ... and then reduce the food safety net to save those no longer able to meet basic food requirements of their families. Ever heard of ethnic cleansing?

Yes, it's terrible...but how can the US be expected to fit the bill for all of the world's many, many needy people and situations? We currently have a deficit of $21 TRILLION! Yet as the article states, the UN - which has *193 member countries* - expected the US to pay for nearly HALF of the allotted $465 million budget. How is this fair? I understand the other countries don't have as much as we do, but we cannot keep footing the bill when our own people go hungry.

Noted. . . this should not happen to any child, anywhere, in the world.
Shared news article over social media to raise and spread awareness.

Sad indeed, So many people in need :-(
I agree with Joanna: you cannot expect the USA to resolve all of the world's problems. Too many people in the planet, and bad use of our resouces.
