U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy, a towering figure in the Democratic Party who took the helm of one of America's most fabled political families after two older brothers were assassinated, has died, his family said. He was 77

Thanks Cal, I was looking for this , thought you or another would post. With Teddy Kennedy's passing, shortly after Eunice's, this is not just the turning of a page: a complete chapter has cosed. RIP Mr. Kennedy.

I find my heart hurts - this was a man who could have spent his entire life in ease and comfort but he chose to work for what was right and necessary. Many blessings upon his head.
