I find it extremely offensive that the depraved antics of crazed people should be compared to animals. Have you ever known any animal to behave in a crazed manner ? The exception is always induced by humans, like certain mahouts with their charges.

At least the dudes in the film Animal House were rebels. These U.S.-hired mercenaries are not rebels - they are using violence to impose the U.S.-supported fundamentalist Northern Alliance government (who are as abusive to women's rights and human rights as the Taliban are) over the Afghan people. It's about U.S. control over the Afghan oil pipeline, of course - the motivation is imperialist greed.
