The only reason why he's cleaning it up is so he can make more money! I have never see this cruel man cry even through he killed all the wildlife and destroyed so many human lives!

Excuse me, but is this the one who complained, "I want my life back (Wahhh!)"? He just doesn't get it, does he?

The President should have demanded that AT LEAST $20 billion be placed in escrow, w/more to be added as necessary. The cleanup should be TOTALLY funded by BP.

Regarding his comment that his company won't stop until the whole cleanup is done, does that mean that he is willing to roll up his shirt sleeves and his thousand-dollar-suit pant legs and join the cleanup crew on the beach? He needs to see the damage he has caused up close and personal.

Congress should show no mercy.

Too bad we have Republicans like Joe Barton from Texas, barbie from Alaska, on the oil companies side. They are a disgrace to America. Of course when you are being paid by the oil companies you become a traitor.

Whenever politicians and big business "confront" each other I think of all the times we've often seen these same guys laughing together on the golf course, dining at a famous restaurant together, conferring at a luxury resort where the politician has gone on a fact-finding mission, sitting together at World Series games and sharing charitable photo ops at polo matches and childrens' hospitals. Doubtless after this "confrontation" is over, calls will be exchanged and an air of sympathy will prevail, jokes will be told and invitations made and Big Oil will go to bed happy because Washington still loves it. Or at least still has the hots for it.

He will only spew more pollution out of his mouth. More apologies? Maybe we can figure out a way to power cars with all the hot air that comes off Capitol Hill. Engineers, get to work.

So they are going to line up, shake a finger "naughty, naughty!",then go pick up BP money for their relection campaigns at the end of the line. There should be disclosures on every candidate of who is their major contributor. That will never happen. We can't attend all the smoozy Washington dinner parties to see who slips who some "influence". But, at least it is fun to see Tony Haywood squirm.
