I'm not so sure. What used to be "Blackwater" might be developing a satellite office in Peru. That is, after all, part of how Cheney makes his money, and he has a heart transplant to finance. Isn't that ironic!

Thanks for the articale. It seems like Oil Companies want to do is drill, Drill, DRILL!!! And spill, Spill,PILL!!! If some people like Good Ole Willie Nelson can have a FLEET of SUSAINABLE BUSES, WHY CAN'T OUR GOVERNMENT DO IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE??????????

The reason They can't is because THEY MAKE A TON OF MONEY THE OTHER WAY. REMEMBER, IT,S ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!!!!

How about an acknowledgement by "caring" US Care2 members that the voracious appetite of the US oil consumer bears some responsibility for this situation? The per capita consumption of the USA is 8.5% the highest along with Canada at 8.16% lying a close second. European countries like the UK and Germany have by contrast less than half the per capita consumption rate of the USA.

Yes Bernard we in the USA bear some of the burden of shame.

However, past history shows that when man attempted a perpetual motion machine, a car that runs on non fossil fuels, a car that uses low fossil fuels, etc., that people had accidents, disappeared, etc.

What can these indigenous people possibly do to stand against this kind of evil? The dastards, they approach the indigenous people fully well knowing the risk of disease from communicable disease. What a bloodless coup.

Cal had a news story a few days ago, about a group called "Survival" who helps indigenous people. If you have not read about them, please do. They accept donations and/or letter writing campaigns on behalf of indigenous people. They have been attacked recently and their sites have been hacked and crashed. I guess the evil ones do fear those whoglobally support indigenous people causes and consider them a threat.
