Cal, I tried and think I went through with the letter. Sorry that I cannot donate, but I can't use the credit card I have.Although this is a US initative (and thanks, Cal!) I think we should all care for Alaska. Moreover, being Dutch, I feel I have to do something to make Shell finally realise they can't go on like this.

thanks, noted, signed and donated... if you can, I would recommend considering a donation to any of several environmental groups working to stop this drilling, stop environmental destruction and of course global climate change and death of the oceans -- if you don't want to donate to the linked site consider earthshare, world wildlife fund, NRDC (national resources defense council -- currenty has a big campaign against big oil), environmental defense fund are all worthwhile...

plant trees, carpool, drive less, use less plastic, recycle....THERE IS NO PLANET B....
