Noted, and signed...Well, Locan i think the answer to that question is simple...They don't care what we want or think...Sooner or later, I'm afraid there will be drilling in the Arctic...They will listen to the big Money Oil Companies...

Perhaps more drastic measures are to be taken, e.g. arrange marches etc. and appeal to the President directly?

The government ought to dictate to the automakers that all cars are to be made bifuel compressed natural gas flex fuel vehicle cng cars, or dedicated ev cars with tesla range technology and plug in electric recharging. Also all existing cars ought be converted to bifuel cng ffv or ev. That's the way it is or the automakers are shut down until they comply. As of the 1970s energy is a national security priority. That's over 30 years the automakers have had to prove loyalty to the state. Now they will be forced to be patriotic.

N'd and Signed, Thanks Cal.

Thank you for protecting the Arctic.
With so much at stake in the Arctic, we can't thank you enough for letting your voice be heard. Inadequate baseline science combined with a lack of effective Arctic-specific oil-spill response plans could spell disaster for the region—and the world—if Secretary Salazar allows new drilling in the Arctic. Thank you for speaking out today.
