How does one respond to an article as tragic as this?

Sad news. Most of us should be careful with our water supply. There's a strange thing in my neighborhood. Although it's raining, it's a bit harder to pump water from ground now than before. Is water supply lower than before? I hope not. I hope all of us care about our water supply. It's the basic need of our life.

These news should give us the creeps! It is very bad news but this disaster could have been avoided... When are we going to realize we cannot go on destroying our natural resources for greediness and lack of accountability! BASTA !!!

I fear that water shortages will become more common. In my part of the UK we have had 10% of our usual rainfall.

i believe that what we sow we shall reap don't you think that the unacceptable things that we did in our environment is the only reason why are these devastating things happening around us? you still believe that there will be a solution or a cure for all of this?

I was in China for 3 weeks this month in 1998. Their waters (Rivers) and air pollution was horrible! Could not see the stars at night! When I returned I told my friends they were killing themselves! A few years later SARS came out! They also had open sewer ponds! Yes, I was shocked! I hope things are changing?
