The best way to save our planet might be to learn from the animals that have lived here harmoniously with it for millions of years...

I quote: "Termites live in termitaria ó towering nests commonly called "anthills". The ability of termites to control the temperature in these mounds has led to the building of one of the most green examples of architecture in the world.

The Eastgate Centre in Harare, Zimbabwe, has no conventional air conditioning or heating but temperature is controlled year round using techniques from the termites.
........

Eastgate uses less than 10 per cent of the energy of a normal building of its size, and the owners have saved $3.5 million just because they didnít have to install air conditioning. It also means the tenants pay rent thatís 20 per cent lower than in neighbouring buildings."

WITH A BLISSFUL MIND WE CAN LEARN FROM EVERYTHING! ANIMALS & PLANTS ARE AMONG THE MOST VALUABLE TEACHERS AND NATURE IN GENERAL I THINK.

We could learn from animals but unfortunately too many people are too closed minded except in this case and a few others I have heard about. Nature works so well and animals have figured out how to survive naturally and yet we need s many artificial accoutrements to survive. We should indeed be listening to and watching the animals.

I have seen termite nests and they are awesome. I also saw some photos of trees spun with webs from spiders so thick that they were said to prevent malaria outbreaks after the recent floods in Pakistan. Mother nature is amazing with her cleansing properties.

Interesting. I believe animals are our teachers and are not to be eaten, used as entertainment or used for research. We need to observe and learn.
