It is good to see the Arab nations making positive movement to support the peoples of their various nations. A very positive sign.

It's good they did that, but it's been going on for a long time now

Better late than never but why did they wait until this evil regime slaughtered almost 4000 of its own citizens before they took any real action?

Thanks, Cal.

This is such an incredible turning point for the Arab nations. Historically, they have rarely come out against one of their "own".It's like these nations are deliberately renouncing Syria to show their populations that they are against absolute rule.
They didn't do this to Libya or Iraq, leading me to think they are using Syria to protect their own power. For whatever reason, this is a good thing.

Things have gotten so far past where suspension means anything. League do something about the murderer of his own people step in with military force or arm at all borders to show you are willing to move in if Assad doesn't surrender to your forces and face what is coming to him.

WOW, I can not believe that the Arab league has stood against Syria. A powerful first step in the development of human rights in the Arab world. They should be proud of themselves. Congratulations to the Arab league.
