The goal is to elect members of this "informal Occupy Wall Street faction" as uncommitted delegates to the Democratic and Republican national conventions next year.

No matter who wins in 2012, by the end of 2013, the people are going to demand Ron Paul's long overdue Foreign Policy and monetary system. The 2 core issues, when fixed, will have other stuff fading away as having been trivial.

When the primary comes to Wisconsin in April, I WILL be occupying that.

The commitment and organization of this grass roots group is incredibly impressive. I hope they can pull this off.

Occupy has a candidate in the Iowa caucuses: Dr. Ron Paul

This will be very interesting to watch play out. However it works out there are going to be some very interesting Caucus discussions. Let us hope they will serve to have the effect of opening some eyes and minds to the broader issues confronting us all. The 99%.
I donít think Occupy could necessarily support Ron Paul, given the realization that it has been the appeasement to Libertarian ideologies that have served getting us in this mess. But he does bring some important issues to the conversation, like Americas unsustainable budget gutting imperialistic Oil dependency madness, (now thatís a mouthful just to say capitalist plunder), the Federal Reserve Bank domination, etc. I personally hope Iowa Republicans give him the nod, as it will, hopefully, change the discourse, the disassociated from reality stupid-ness being spewed now. At least for a little while. At the very least; it would indicate theyíre thinking for themselves and not just being lead around by Fo News Fox. Now that, that would be refreshing to see and hear. Another segment of Americans thinking for themselves, beyond the boob tube force feed propaganda.

You Paultards (much as I like some of you) seem to have forgotten a main OWS principle: OWS will NOT be coopted. I'm an actual Occupier, although less often than I'd like, in deed as well as word. Hope each of you is, too. But I have not been coopted by that anti-environment, racist, homophobic, anti-choice, antisemitic, immigrant bashing, economic ignoramus and safety net dismantler Paul. Nor, as far as I know, has the Occupy Movement.

Myron, you changed your avatar. Too soon to send a star, but I agree with you. Perfect description of Paul. And yes, some of the Paultards I like and are on my frien'ds list.

Occupy endorse Ron Paul, now that's a laugh! Noted, thanks, Cal. Will look forward to seeing what happens!

You cannot currently send a star to Myron because you have done so within the last week.
Thanks Sam T.
