If they can see it via satellite, how about using that burning satellite laser ray for some good -- targeting illegal deforesters.

This is so sad. Just knowing that this is taking place leaves little hope for the ethical response of mankind to any environmental issue.

It is very sad that an Archaelogical Reserve was logged, and I hope this new airborne laser will become one of the most useful tools of the future.
