We already know that no women will be on stage at this year's presidential debates, but what about in the moderator's chair? We were shocked to find out that it has been 20 years since a woman last moderated a presidential debate.

I vote for Rachel Maddow. Having Rachel and Romney in the same stage would be a blast!

It is most definitely time. Fingers crossed. I like Rachel and Christiane and also Gwen Ifill (what can I say? I'm a fan of Washington Week and the PBS Newshour). Signed. Thank you Cal.

Women are over half the voters, but they don't get to ask the important questions. Male chauvinism is alive and well! I would love to see a Presidential debate where Ann Coulter got to question Obama and Rachel Maddow got to question Romney. That would truly be a worthwhile debate!

Noted and signed. Thanks Cal. There are far too many brilliant women out there, plus the fact that they are around half of the population, so should be included in every debate. Rachel Maddow would be perfect, as she is not afraid to ask the hard questions.

Signed #121733. Noted. Previously signed a couple of other petitions floating around regarding this, too. Add me to the group that wants Rachel as our #1 choice. Christianne or Gwen would be great 2nd choices, though.

Rachel Maddow gets my vote! She is interesting to listen to, hard hitting with questions, very intelligent and just all around COOL! From all the men that moderated the Republican debates, I wouldn't employ any of them to clean the toilet, even if I was desparate.

@ John G --- Yes she is a liberal, but I also think she is fair, certainly more fair than the lame ducks during the Republican/Teabagger debates.
